In the course of my working life I bought and sold a number of homes in several states. After searching house after house with a an agent that just wanted me to buy - regardless if the house met my standards or not - I happened to run across Carol at one of her listings. Carol listened to what I was interested in and set up appointments at the houses that met those standards. I had  to come in from out of town to tour the houses and Carol made sure that she allotted me enough of her time to make sure that I reviewed all of them. Carol sold us property at 105 E. Landing Rd twenty years ago. I was then and still am a licensed real estate broker in Virginia. She guided us through a very new concept of 1031 exchange and we were able to meet our financial objective plus our "dream objective" of owning Outer Banks property.

Fast forward twenty years and again we called Carol for help in moving to a more suitable property, again using the 1031 tax deferred exchange. Her council as to price of the relinquished property and negotiations with the buyer's agent PLUS having it all done to meet the requirements of the exchange were nothing short of a miracle.
